BLEND No.75 CREATIVE RECIPE

It is how I approach everything and what inspires my culinary creations, like this visually delightful and elegant dish that goes with any protein or vegetable. The Emerald sauce made with fresh herbs, almonds and a touch of my Blend No.75 together with my fluffy flaky rice create range of flavors that are nutty, zesty and tangy with a little crunch.


BLEND FLAVOR PROFILE
Dill, Parsley, Leek, Basil, Salt, Pepper, Herbs & Spices

Serves 8

INGREDIENTS

Emerald Sauce

  1. 1T      HomeiraStyle Savor No.75, Already mixed with olive oil, (see Original Signature Recipe)
  2. 2C        Mint
  3. 1C        Parsley
  4. 1C        Spinach
  5. ¼C       Champagne Wine Vinegar 
  6. 1T        Lemon Zest
  7. 2T        Lemon Juice, Freshly Squeezed
  8. D          Sea Salt and Pepper, Freshly Ground  
  9. 2T        Olive Oil
  10. ¼C       Toasted Almonds 

Rice

  1. 3C        Cooked Saffron Basmati Rice, From Refrigerator, See Recipe                

  2. 4          Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes, Quartered

  3. ¼C       Mint Tips, Optional Garnish

  4.             Edible Flowers, Optional Garnish

 

KITCHEN ESSENTIALS

    • Food Processor


    DIRECTION

    1. In food processor, add Blend No.75, mint, parsley, spinach, vinegar, lemon zest and juice
    2. Process to blend, do not over process
    3. Add salt, pepper, oil and almonds, process to blend
    4. Heat rice over medium heat
    5. Add some of the sauce to toss to mix
    6. Add more for stronger flavor
    7. Plate and serve with your choice protein or vegetables.
    8. Transfer extra sauce to a glass jar with screw top and refrigerate for later use
