My Pita Pizza Just for You

BLEND No.75 CREATIVE RECIPE

Imagine coming home from work and craving an umami-rich bite of pizza that is a bit crunchy, tangy, and slightly nutty without the hassle of dealing with pizza dough! What if I told you that you can bite into your pizza in no time? The secret is my BLEND No.75 and pita bread along with just a few ingredients that you probably have in your refrigerator.



BLEND FLAVOR PROFILE
Dill, Parsley, Leek, Basil, Salt, Pepper, Herbs & Spices

Serves 1 - 4

RECIPE INGREDIENTS

  1.      1             Pita bread, about 7” round
  2.      2T           HomeiraStyle Savor No.75, Already mixed with olive oil, (see Original Signature Recipe)
  3.      6             Brie Cheese Slices            
  4.      ¼C          Monterey Jack Cheese, Shredded 
  5.      10          Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes
  6.      D             Sea Salt and Pepper, Freshly Ground
  7.      1T           Olive Oil, More if Needed
  8.      2T           Mint Chiffonade  

KITCHEN ESSENTIALS

  • Cast Iron Grill Pan

  •  

DIRECTION

  1. Heat oil in grill pan over medium high
  2. Add tomatoes, salt and pepper
  3. Toss to grill, remove tomatoes and set aside
  4. In the same pan, place pita bread and grill for 1 -2 minutes
  5. Flip pita bread and grill the other side for 30 seconds
  6. Drizzle with Blend No.75  
  7. Top with cheese slices
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheese
  9. Top with tomatoes and grill until cheese melted
  10. Garnish with the Mint Chiffonade and any other ingredients you may like on your pizza.
