artSAVOR 75 CREATIVE RECIPE

The combination of crunchy, nutty, chewy textures and sweet, salty, savory flavors with my Blend No.75 makes this simple colorful salad hard to resist. It is a great starter to your multi course dinner or adding some protein makes this a complete main course. To make it even simpler, you can add my magical No.75 to your favorite store-bought vinaigrette. Always read the ingredients of what you buy readymade!


BLEND FLAVOR PROFILE
Dill, Parsley, Leek, Basil, Salt, Pepper, Herbs & Spices

Serves 4-6

INGREDIENTS

Dressing

  1. ¼C artSAVOR 75, Already mixed with olive oil, (see Original Signature Recipe)

  2. ½C Vinaigrette Dressing, Store Bought

  3. 1T Lemon Zest

  4. 2T Lemon Juice, Freshly squeezed


Salad

  1. 2C Black Forbidden Rice, Washed

  2. 2T Shallots, Chopped Finely

  3. 1T Olive Oil

  4. 1C Chicken Broth, More if Needed

  5. D Sea Salt and Pepper, Freshly Ground

  6. 2C Yellow and Red Beets, Roasted, Sliced

  7. ½C Green Grapes, Halved

  8. 1C Orange, Sectioned

  9. 1C Slivered Pistachios

  10. 1C Micro Greens,For Garnish

DIRECTION

  1. In a mixing bowl, add artSAVOR 75 mixture, Vinaigrette, lemon zest, lemon juice

  2. Mix well with a fork or wire mixer, set aside for the flavors to infuse

  3. Heat oil in pan over medium high heat

  4. Sauté shallots until translucence, 30 -40 seconds

  5. Add rice and sauté for 1-2 minutes, season with salt and pepper

  6. Add chicken broth, cover, lower heat and cook until rice done but still crunchy

  7. Add more chicken broth if needed

  8. Set aside to cook

  9. Add half of the dressing on rice to mix

  10. Add remaining of the dressing to beets, grapes and orange sections, toss to combine

  11. Plate the rice and arrange other ingredients on top

  12. Top with pistachios and micro green and serve
