Lemony Herb Pasta

BLEND SIGNATURE RECIPE

Pasta is now a staple food of global cuisines. For a flavorful fabulous fast recipe use my versatile Herby Blend and have a gourmet healthy dish on your table in no time. You can always get creative by adding vegetables, meat, poultry and seafood to this simple dish to make it more exotic. For a delicious gluten-free option, I suggest you try Chickpea Pasta, which is higher in protein and lower in carbohydrates!

Serves 4 - 8

RECIPE INGREDIENTS

  1. 1pk  Pasta Blend No.80
  2. ½C   Olive oil, More if needed
  3. 1T    Ghee¹ or Olive Oil, For cooking pasta
  4. 1lb   Pasta, Boiled in salted water& Drained
  5. 2C    Cherry Tomatoes, Halved & Roasted

KITCHEN ESSENTIALS

  • 14” Wok
  • Glass Jar (Preferably with Screw Lid)

TIPS

  • For even flavor in every bite mix entire package with oil
  • Use Blend No.80 for a variety of pastas, salads or herbed oil
  • Add extra salt and pepper to your taste if desired

PREP

  1. Mix entire package of Blend No.80 with oil in a mixing bowl, set aside

COOK

  1. Heat ghee or oil in a wok over medium heat
  2. Add pasta and  ¼ of the Blend mixture without touching the pasta mixture
  3. Toss pasta well with Blend mixture, sauté for 2 minutes, do not let it burn 
  4. Add more of the Blend mixture for stronger flavor, optional
  5. Sauté until pasta is thoroughly coated and heated through
  6. Add tomatoes, toss, sauté for 30 seconds
  7. Serve immediately with your choice of protein or other vegetables

NOTES

Refrigerate excess Blend mixture, if any, in a jar with lid closed for later use
